Steve Bickford, Vice President

I was almost 50 years old, cholesterol was too high, blood pressure too high, weight too high, I had to make some life changes.  The last time I ran was in 1978 during high school football practice.  I ran the 3.5 mile fun run with the Seven Hills Running Club on March 28, 2010 and decided that I could do it.  I joined the club and decided to honor God in my body and in my spirit like the scripture says in 1 Corinthian 6:20.  From now on, I am going to run as long as He lets me.  My goal is to be the best me that I can.

  Jan Parks, Registrar

I ran on the track team in high school and continued to run on my own in college. Due to a back injury, I gave up on running for about 15 years. Then, I started walking and adding very short runs. My back didn’t hurt, so I kept running. Now, I have run 6 marathons and four 50K races. It’s great to be running again!
