Lavonne started running in 2007 to stay healthy. She recently completed her first half marathon. Lavonne moved to Huntsville in 1987, graduated from SHSU and remained in Huntsville afterwards. She is a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. Born and raised in Seguin, Lavonne finds any and every excuse to make that three-hour drive back home. In her spare time, she enjoys watching the Astros, reading Guideposts publications, and rediscovering the nooks and crannies of her hometown. Lavonne is married to Pat, and they have one son,Thomas.
